Romania rent a car - know to book your vehicle.
- The driver must hold a valid driver's licence and identity card/passport.
- Minimum age in Romania is 21. Driver has to be in possession of a valid driving licence for at least 1 year.
- We accept all credit cards from internationally recognised credit card companies - such as American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa.
- Payment by cash in RON can only be accepted in combination with a valid credit card.
- Cash and debit card deposits are not accepted.
- Delivery/Collection Service within city limits is free of charge.
- International One-Way Rentals are not allowed.
- Cross Border Rentals are not allowed.
General Insurance Conditions
- Third Party Insurance
Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a maximum cover of RON 400,000 for material damages. Maximum cover for personal injuries is RON 200,000 per injured person and RON 1,000,000 per insured event.
Excluded from the insurance is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's licence at the time of the event giving rise to claim. - Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Collision Damage Waiver removes the drivers responsibility to a part of the vehicle in case of damage. All rates are inclusive of CDW. - Theft Protection (TP)
Theft Protection removes the drivers responsibility to a part of the vehicle in case of theft. All rates are inclusive of TP.
Fleet and Rates
Rates include: VAT, unlimited kilometers, full insurance (Collision Damage Waiver + Theft Protection) and free delivery within the city limits.
